Alex’s Kitten Cattery is a small, family-oriented, and dedicated breeding program focused on raising exceptional, healthy, and well-socialized [e.g., Scottish Folds, Maine Coons, Ragdolls, etc.] kittens. Founded on a deep love for felines, our mission is to improve the breed standard while placing our kittens into their perfect forever homes.

We believe that a kitten’s first few months are critical. Our kittens are raised underfoot in our home, not in cages or isolated rooms. This ensures they are thoroughly socialized, confident, and accustomed to the sounds and rhythms of a family life, making their transition to your home seamless.

Our Breeding Philosophy

A Litter of Love, Ready to Explore

  • Health First: All our breeding cats are genetically tested for common hereditary diseases specific to their breed. They receive regular veterinary check-ups and are kept on a premium diet. Our kittens leave home vaccinated, dewormed, and with a clean bill of health from our vet.

  • Temperament is Key: We breed for not only beauty and conformation but also for wonderful, stable personalities. Our cats are chosen for their sweet, friendly, and trusting natures.

  • Ethical Practices: We are committed to the well-being of our queen (mother) cats. They are bred sparingly and live with us as beloved pets for their entire lives. We never overbreed and always prioritize the health of the mother and her litter.

Our Kittens

  • Breeds: We specialize in Maine Coons & Ragdolls Kittens.

  • Raised With Love: Our kittens are handled daily from birth. They are exposed to various stimuli, including different people, safe toys, and household noises, to promote curiosity and reduce fear.

  • Health Guarantee: Every kitten comes with a comprehensive health guarantee and a contract that protects both the kitten and the buyer.

  • Going Home: Kittens are ready to join their new families at around 12-16 weeks of age. They will go home with:

    • Veterinary health records

    • Registration papers (TICA/CFA)

    • A starter pack of their current food

    • A blanket with the scent of their littermates

    • Lifetime breeder support

Kitten Availability & Process

We typically have 1-2 litters per year. Due to our small size and commitment to quality, there is often a waiting list.

The Process:

  1. Application: Interested families are encouraged to fill out our detailed application form. This helps us ensure our kittens are placed in suitable, loving homes.

  2. Waitlist: Approved applicants are placed on our waitlist in order of application.

  3. Selection: When a litter is born, we contact those on our waitlist. kitten selection typically occurs once the kittens are a few weeks old and their personalities begin to shine.

  4. Take Home: We keep in touch with updates and photos until it’s time for your new family member to come home!
